Are you aware :: high achievers are 400% more productive than the average human?

High achievers need a different type of motivation than their counterparts.

How do you support high achievers as well as your other well-equipped team members?

High achievers are intrinsically motivated by the ‘why’.

They are sponges and always making connections between methodologies.

They take strategic risks and build upon their failures (and we should support them to do so by giving more autonomy!!).

Their reward systems are different, they are more interested in new opportunities for growth and development over a standard incentive.

High achievers recognize what they know and what they don’t.

They want to learn new things and new ways of accomplishing them.

High achievers will be interested in more than their industry and colleagues alone - as there are vast learnings from outside and they will innovate from this knowledge.

It’s extremely valuable to quench their thirst for advanced education, as soon as they learn something they start implementing it.

How do you identify and support your high potentials in becoming high achievers?

High potentials will be nearly as curious as high achievers.  Allow them to come up with ideas and don’t suppress the ideation even if it doesn’t always directly correlate with the focus.

Figure out what they love to do, what they have insatiable curiosity for, their passion and surround them with different ideas, challenges allowing them to think bigger.

Respectfully provide them with feedback … and ensure they understand the feedback is an opportunity for enhancement.
