Are you aware :: of the perfect day exercise?
Nerd tip :: our brains don’t know the difference between our imagination and what’s reality.
I get it, sounds a little out there … nothing is perfect - but, sinking ourselves into visualization, ideation of a perfect ordinary day helps us access our subconscious.
…& even better :: it’s been proven most times to come true!
So, what’s the harm :: accessing a part of our mind that we’re not fully aware of - that also has influence over our actions and feelings…
I’m game - you?
Let’s practice ::
calm space - sit and reflect what a perfect day looks like
allow our imagination to expand beyond our current experience, having the life we most desire
starting with just as we are waking up
// no limitations or boundaries
Although, insert a bit of a lens on reality - think :: no riding off in the sunset on a unicorn.
Pro tip :: we’re writing this down // our perfect day can evolve // the first version will not necessarily be our last
get as detailed as what our senses are activated by, observe what’s around us (noise/calm, crisp air, what’s outside, what’s/who’s in the room, etc.)
look at ourselves in the mirror, what is it we see - how do we feel
continue throughout the day, a perfect yet ordinary one
Absorb this day could be a week from now or a year+.
There are no restrictions of this exercise :: can lean more toward professional or personal …or intertwine it all!
Remember :: have fun!!
Let me know what you uncover!
