The data proves, we tend to reward people that dominate the conversation - misconstruing confidence for competence. 

Which often makes the worst leaders ::

  • they don’t listen

  • seemingly against inclusivity >> their way or no way

  • aren’t open to learning from other humans

  • won’t prioritize developing others

Phew!

I’ve always been intrigued by quiet types + those smarter than me - thinking differently >> expanding not only my perspective but our teams!

Nerd tip :: our brains literally stop learning + growing if we only surround ourselves with humans that think like we do.


Let’s be honest, as leaders - we won’t know everything - and that’s okay, release the pressure!
