We’re officially deep into the season of magic (lights, celebration, giving, love)  …& excess!

Our schedules are more stretched along with our waistbands.

We’re surrounded by libations, temptations filled with sugar and processed ingredients … as well as a layer of stress piled on to close the year on top.

All the while - making the season extra bright for the kiddos, friends and family.

This added chaos can spike our fight or flight instinct activating cortisol.

Nerd tip :: when we have an elevated amount of both insulin and cortisol in our bloodstream it creates a fat-storing enzyme.

Just what we all want, right?  NO!

…but we must live!

So, let’s find balance within it all.

  • establish healthy boundaries (it’s okay to say ‘no’)

  • eat fiber before enjoying sugar

  • drink a little apple cider vinegar with water before a meal or snack

  • incorporate adaptogens

  • take a 10-minute walk after you eat

If these aren’t necessarily your jam, find ways to reset your nervous system, like…

  • shaking it off

  • listening to your favorite tunes 

  • dancing like no one's watching 

Whatever you choose, find something that supports your well-being … and absorb + find love in the chaos of this beautiful season!
