We use our brains for nearly everything :: 

  • work 

  • connecting with humans 

  • learning new skills

You get what I’m saying, but - why aren’t we talking more about brain health?

Are you aware :: some sure fire signs our brain is healthy?

Our skin, hair, nails are in good condition!

Nerd tip :: the brain only amounts to about 2-3% of our body weight - but - utilizes 20-30% of what we eat.

…& in fact, the brain will not give up any resources (for skin / hair / nails) until it has already absorbed 20-30% of the nutrients it needs.

Yes, here I go again :: highlighting the value of what we put in our mouths.

Our brain mostly consists of fat and water.

Eating good fats and remaining hydrated is an excellent start.

Let’s dive into the (4) key foods that support optimum brain health ::

(1) Dark Skinned Foods

(blueberries, the cruciferous family - like broccoli, brussels) 

(2) Hydrating Foods

(leafy greens, fruits)

(3) Good Fats

(oily fish, eggs, avocado, nuts, seeds)

(4) Fermented Foods

(kimchi, sauerkraut, kefir, kombucha)

Let’s tip the scale in our (big brain) favor by integrating more of these foods

… and live better!!
