Are you aware :: where most of our energy comes from?

No, I won’t dive into food … today!

Air <> Breathing

Such a subconscious activity yet a doorway to premium health - breathing is a pillar right alongside sleep, movement, food.

We take about 25,000 breaths a day… but are we doing so in a way that best supports our well-being?

What type are you - a nose or mouth breather?

Nerd tip :: breathing through our nose forces air through ornate structures, it’s heated up, moistened, filtered >> a huge profusion of nitric oxide is released, which helps kill viruses and bacteria, fights inflammation; it’s nature's vasodilator, improving our blood flow and circulation!

However, mostly at night - more than 60% of humans breathe through our mouths.

Breathing through the mouth at night - literally changes our PH making us more susceptible to cavities, periodontal disease.

Mouth breathing can cause ::

  • extreme fatigue

  • blood pressure spikes

  • trouble focusing

  • increased stress

  • athletic performance dips

So, how do we circumvent?

Simple tweaks to our posture

  • sit or stand tall, spine straight and take a deep breath

Chin straps were worn 100 years ago overnight to keep mouths closed

  • we now have ‘sleep tape’

+even the act of humming has proven major impact on our energy + immunity.

Give one or all a try and ritualize them to experience the energy boost on the other side!
